We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer. You will work on a diverse and global team of English-speaking developers, to implement and maintain frontend libraries for our frontend developer platform. The ideal candidate is not only proficient in Angular and TypeScript but also possesses a passion for continuous learning, a knack for grasping complex technical concepts, and excellent English communication skills. What you do

Extend and maintain a UI Component library utilized by over 1000 developers within Allianz, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across projects. Stay updated with the latest Angular features, tools, and best practices. Utilize Schematics or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks and streamline development processes. Provide support to development teams in onboarding processes and offer third-level assistance in resolving complex technical issues. Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery. Document technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines. Collaborate with stakeholders to extend the frontend platform, integrating low-code capabilities to empower rapid application development. Coordinate with teams across Allianz to ensure seamless updates Develop comprehensive tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality Implement all components with WCAG AA accessibility compliance.

 

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an Angular/TypeScript Developer or similar role. Strong understanding of Angular framework concepts, including components, services, routing, and dependency injection. Experience with version control systems (Git) Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma. Knowledge of front-end build tools like Angular CLI. Ability to grasp complex technical topics quickly and effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
