About the Job

As a Senior UX/UI Designer (Design System), you own and design for the global Allianz Design System. You are part of an experienced international team that offers design libraries for building our insurance Frontend products in a global, large scale and agile environment.

 

What you do

Drive improvement of the Allianz Design System from concept, design to documentation. Design new components, patterns and templates for the Allianz Design System based on user and business requirements and provide proper documentation for those. Maintain the existing Allianz Design System, ensuring quality, consistency and reuse across all platforms and touchpoints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for gathering new requirements and identify business relevance. Communicate design system releases effectively. Increase adoption and help product teams to apply the design system. Stay up to date with the latest design system and UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Contribute to the global UX Community in Allianz: facilitate UX/UI designer onboardings and foster continuous learning with your design system knowledge

 

 

What you bring

Minimum of seven years of professional experience in UX design, with a proven track record of successful projects. At least two years of professional experience in build and run of a design system. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Expertise with design software Figma and other prototyping and design system documentation tools. Knowledge in the area of Design Tokens and the usage of corresponding Figma Plugins (e.g. Tokens Studio) Proficiency in cutting-edge Frontend technologies and their impact on creating, deploying, and evaluating high-performance digital experiences. Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of UX/UI design and experience with complex systems. Exceptional UX/UI design skills Knowledge about common Usability standards and the application of A11Y guidelines Experience working in agile organizations at scale and international teams strongly preferred. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
