CBRE is looking for technically strong, highly collaborative, and forward leaning Quality Engineering Leader to join our teams in Valuations & Advisory services, who will be accountable for the delivery of global products with high quality by architecting robust automation framework and working with peer quality engineers in implementing highly reliable automation suite. We are reimagining & transforming our existing global valuations products from an on premise, monolithic, closed architecture system to a modern, open, micro-services, cloud-based system. What you'll do + Architect test strategies for highly available & distributed global software products + Create automation suite of software tests (e.g. unit, regression, functional, performance tests). + Developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting. + Testing new and existing features on pre-release software and to find problems before they impact our customers + Triaging difficult problems and driving them to resolution, to make the user experience phenomenal + Working with client, server, and partner engineering teams to identify software requirements and develop test plans + Defining test coverage, creating, and maintaining test cases, reporting test results, and evaluating readiness to ship throughout the software development lifecycle + Experience in managing complete life cycle of software development starting from project definition, requirement gathering, requirement analysis, developing Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, + Test Data, Test Procedures, Test Reports, documenting manual, automation and performance tests, preparation of test completion reports, support documentation + Develop and execute multiple, simultaneous project plans with competing priorities. + Expertise with operating highly available systems and incident management + Ability to prioritize and work under shifting deadlines with potentially ambiguous requirements in a fast-paced environment How you'll need + To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Requirements + At least 5 years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), testing methodologies, and testing tools. + At least 5 years of experience in with Java, REST APIs + At least 5 years of experience in database development like Oracle, SQL Server, PostgresDB, RDS etc + At least 5 years of experience with automation frameworks Selenium, Cucumber, Nightwatch, Karate + At least 2 years’ experience in Cloud Technologies like AWS. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Preferred Technical Skills + 5+ years’ Experience with Test Management Tools: HP ALM, HP Quality Center, TWB + 3+ years’ Experience with Agile project Management: JIRA, Version One + 3+ years’ Experience with CICD (e.g. Jenkins) + 2+ years’ experience with Application Monitoring tools: Splunk + Experience of Karate and REST Assured API automation frameworks using Cucumber and Java programming language + Experience in application performance testing using JMeter + Extensive experience of working as a Test Lead for multiple projects + Experience in TDD (Test Driven Development), BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and ATDD (Acceptance Test + Driven Development) + Experience in quality engineering of large-scale distributed systems, working with microservices and/or distributed architecture + Ability to be flexible, proactive, comfortable working with minimal specifications + Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand + requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs + Communication Skills - Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. + Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
