Job Overview:
\nWe are seeking an experienced D365 Functional Lead who will be responsible for overseeing the functional aspects of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nDevelop functional specifications for D365 Finance enhancements and integrations\nSetup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 solutions using best practices implementation methodology\nUnderstand business requirements - collaborate with the necessary departments\nAct as the translation point between functional and technical teams so that solutions can be developed\nAbility to perform business process mapping and gap analysis.\nWork collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.\nLead the finance functional track of an implementation.\nProvide expert level product knowledge of D365 F&O \nAbility to perform a fit/gap analysis on the requirements identifying gaps in standard functionality as well as best possible standard workarounds\nCreate Functional Design Documents for software modifications to address approved gaps in functionality using best practices. Design must be efficient, adhere to best practices, and fully address the client’s needs.\nKnowledge of software testing processes and best practices. Knowledge of using Leapwork for testing will be an added advantage.\n\nTraining and Mentorship:
\n\nCollaborate with development teams to customize and enhance D365 F&O functionality where needed.\nConduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to help clients fully adopt the D365 F&O solution.\nProvide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and client teams during the project lifecycle.\n\nContinuous Improvement:
\n\nStay updated with the latest trends and best practices in D365 Technology.\nIdentify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.\nStaying updated with the latest features, implementing enhancements, and optimizing the system for better performance and functionality, while also ensuring adherence to industry best practices and business needs.\n\nQualifications:
\nEducation:
\n· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
\nExperience:
\n· Minimum of 5+ years of experience in D365 F&O, with a focus on leading teams.
\n· Proven experience in delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 projects
\n· Minimum of two full lifecycle ERP implementations leading functional workstream with industry experience utilising specialist knowledge of Finance, Project Accounting, Distribution & Trade processes and the Microsoft Dynamics product to support the development and expansion of Dynamics 365.
\n· Provide expertise in accounting standards
\n· Strong domain expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
\n· Extensive experience in core finance modules like AP, AR, GL, FA, and Projects
\n· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
\nCertifications:
\n· D365 F&O functional certification or equivalent certifications in D365 platform is preferred.
\nFunctional Skills:
\n· Proven experience developing functional specifications for D365 Finance enhancements and integrations
\n· Hands-on experience with key D365 F&O modules such as AP, AR, GL, FA, and Projects
\n· Proven ability to lead and manage client-facing projects and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
\nSoft Skills:
\n· Excellent leadership and communication skills.
\n· Ability to mentor and motivate team members.
