An exciting Housekeeper position has just come up in Highgate to join a lovely family who have a great track record when hiring staff, with their current nanny who has been with them for five and half years.
The family are now looking to transition the role into a Housekeeper position, due to limited childcare duties required as the boys are older. This is a lovely position for someone who is looking for something long term due to the family needing someone and potentially wanting to extend their skills set and take on PA duties overtime.
The family are looking for someone to join them 37 hours a week but would like someone who is flexible and able to support if required on additional mornings. As flexibility is required in return the family are offering a full-time salary.
Job specification:
• Daily cleaning duties around the home (cleaner also hired on a Saturday)
• Laundry and ironing for the family
• Preparing the children’s sports kits
• Organizing and tidying around the home
• Washing and changing bedding
• Running errands – dry cleaners, post office and food shopping if required
• Walking the family dog once a day (small dog)
• School runs and taking the children to activities – driver required, and car provided for work purposes
• Overseeing that the children are doing their homework
• Being a responsible adult in the home and supporting the boys when needed when the parents are not at home
• Meal planning and preparing a shopping list
• Preparing healthy family style meals for the family – a chef is not required just someone who is confident following recipes
Working hours: (Flexibility is required to help on occasional mornings – full-time salary is offered in return)
• Tuesday and Wednesday – 7:30am to 7pm
• Monday and Thursday – 2pm to 7pm
• Friday – 2pm to 6pm
Candidate specification:
• A confident driver is required, and a car is provided for work purposes
• Must be pet friendly and happy to take on dog care duties (small dog)
• Strong English communication skills
• Someone who can manage their own day, good time management and is a self-starter
• Experience working with children and happy to support them
• Confident cooking family style meals – a chef is not required
