Job Summary: Exciting opportunity for a detailed oriented housekeeper in West London to join a lovely family of four! They have a cleaner who comes to deep clean the home 2 times a week and a family assistant PA who works full time. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills, the family have two teenage children and a cat. Cooking is an important part of the role, the family are happy to pay for cooking classes if required
Job specification:
• Keeping the house clean and tidy (deep cleaning by cleaner 2x per week) top to bottom each morning to make beds, bring any glasses/plates etc downstairs/tidy bathrooms and toilets
• Changing bed linens and towels
• Weekly online food shops and purchasing fresh produce as necessary
• Maintaining stock of food staples in pantry and condiments etc
• Maintaining stock of medicines and ensuring they are all in date
• Cleaning fridge every week and getting rid of any expired food
• Maintaining all appliances-help with organising repair/replacements when needed
• All washing and ironing
• Dry cleaning
• Cat care – food and feeding/vet/anti flea treatments – order, arrange and execute as necessary and arranging cat care cover while family travel (someone for feeding/cat sitter etc)
• Readying guest room for guests
• Packing ad un packing in advance for the family
• Help with gift buying and wrapping
• Keeping steps and front patio swept and tidy
• Wardrobe management-keeping tidy and in order
• Seasonal sort out of kid’s wardrobes (charity and replace as needed)
• Keeping all drawers, cupboards and shelves etc organised and clean
• Cooking and meal prep for the family from scratch
• Babysitting on occasion (compensated extra)
• Attending some cooking classes paid for by family and integrating dishes
• Researching healthy dishes and buying the ingredients
Candidate specification:
• Happy to work around cats
• Happy working with and around children, although no childcare is required the family would like the option for babysitting on occasion
• Confident cooking pescatarian meals and a variety of dishes
• Driver (preferred not essential)
• Organized and detailed orientated
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage
