Job Summary:  

My client is a family of 3 looking for their first Nanny within their household, their little girl will be 5 months old in May (she is currently 5 weeks old). Mum is currently on maternity leave so the role will be shared charge for the time being, but once mum goes back to work the role would be sole charge.

This role involves all Nanny duties with some babysitting added on top, but this role does not involve travelling. This role absolutely offers excellent longevity and security within this position, with the bonus of working with a lovely and friendly family.

They are looking for a Nanny who absolutely loves their job and what they do, and is passionate about child development. They would love the Nanny to have a flexible approach and be led by mum and dad but adding some helpful advice and steering along the way to give guidance on their own experience and expertise of being a Nanny.

Job specification:

Sole and shared charge duties for the baby, it will only be sole when mum goes back to work Weaning and introducing foods to the baby in due course Morning and evening routines, dressing and ensuring the baby is ready for the day, evening routine of winding down and helping with sleep routine Taking her to playdates and sourcing and organising general age appropriate activities Basic housekeeping in relation to the baby, such as organising her bedroom and any laundry in association Following an established routine and implementing/recommending helpful advice to the family Create a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the little girl Cooking healthy and fresh meals for the family

Candidate specification:

3 years experience working with a private household Primarily expertise in Nannying babies under 1 years old A caring and friend individual Background checks and references required

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
