Job Summary:  

My client is a family of 3, consisting of mum, dad and their 3 month old baby. They currently have a Maternity Nurse and are looking to recruit for a Nanny starting in March of this year. As they are first time parents, they are looking for an experienced Nanny who is able to offer them help and guidance, so experience of working with children under 1 would be an advantage.

This role offers longevity and security. They are looking for a calm, reliable, warm and friendly individual with excellent patience and a good sense adventure and creativity that will inspire their charge.

The family would be looking for someone who is happy to travel with them to European countries, and perhaps the USA, going away 2-3 times a year. Additional evening or weekend babysitting would be preferable if the candidate is happy to do so and the family are able to offer accommodation on these occasions to avoid having to travel back through London too late at night.

They would prefer daily, rather than live in, but the option of accommodate would be there for an incredible candidate! They are happy to offer a bedroom/bathroom within the household, or potentially a separate flat based close by, but this is only if required by an outstanding candidate.

They have a small dog but no pet care is required.

Job specification:

Provide shared charge care for children Getting the children up, dressed and ready for the day Taking the children to nursery and school in due course Basic housekeeping in relation to the baby, tidying up after them and general laundry duties Create a steady routine for the baby Assisting with weaning, feeding, further down the line Create a loving, nurturing atmosphere for the baby Communicate with parents regarding daily activities Organising fun activities in due course, like going to museums, parks etc.
