Job Summary: This lovely family with two small children is looking for an experienced resolute nanny to start ASAP. The role is a mixture of sole charge and shared care; the nanny that is hired should be happy to work with the parents but also someone that they can trust and rely on to take sole charge. The family live in a beautiful; village location close to many clubs and classes for children, the town and all amenities is a 15-minute walk, as well as the park, tennis courts and swimming pool. Their older daughter will be going to Nursery, and the baby will be at home. The family also have a small poodle mix dog. Due to the location a car is essential. A car is available to use for work purposes.
Job specification:
• Laundry and ironing for the children
• Ensuring that the children’s bedrooms and play areas are tidy and well organised.
• Planning and preparing healthy nutritious meals for the children.
• Providing stimulating and engaging activities appropriate for the age and stage of the children.
• Ability to babysit and travel on some holidays would be desirable.
• Driving the children
• Potty training
Candidate specification:
• A driver is necessary for the location.
• Recent experience looking after two young children, an absolute must is that you have recently worked with very young babies and are confident in all the early developmental stages including weaning and potty training
• Professional and discreet, able to act on their own initiative, be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable around dogs
• Ideally a background in maternity would be ideal
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric first aid check required at offer stage
