Job Summary: A lovely family with two young active boys is seeking another nanny to join them .They currently employ a live in nanny who speaks another language , she will stay on and work in the evenings The family would like to add another nanny to the mix and are seeking a native English speaker who will be able to help with their speech , focus on their development ,education and manners etc. Mum is around and likes to be involved with the children, so it is important you are happy to work in a team but equally should be comfortable with both children. The family has another home in Essex and requires someone who is happy to travel there (bedroom can be provided if you want to stay over) and on some of their family holidays. The oldest boy is in a full-time school and the youngest boy attends a couple of classes per week and will go to the same school full time next year.
Job specification:
• A mixture of sole and shared care (with mum or on occasion or the other nanny)
• Help with school runs
• Planning and attending fun activities for both children that will stimulate their development
• Working with both boys with their reading, spelling speech and manners
• Planning and preparing nutritional meals for the boys- being creative, the oldest is a fussy eater
• Responsible for the boy’s laundry, and managing their wardrobes keeping on top of what needs to be replaced
• Travelling with the family on some of the holidays and on occasion to their other family home in Essex
Candidate specification:
• Native English speaker is required to help with speech, reading and writing
• Someone who is professional and discreet
• Childcare qualifications are a must- Norland training would be a bonus
• Someone who is active, enjoys this age group, able to get down on their level
• Good communication skills able to work in a team with mum but equally someone they can rely on and trust to look after the two children
• An interest in nutrition
• Happy to travel on some of the holidays
