Job Summary:
Eden is working with a family who have just had their first child and are now looking for a experienced Daily Nanny to join their family. The family currently have a maternity nurse until the end of Feb so their little one is in good routines. The role will be a mix of sole and shared care – mum will be returning to work in April (mum works US hours). Newborn/baby experience especially around early weaning is very important to mum and dad. Also, the ideal Nanny will have knowledge and experience of activities local to the area.
To begin with, extra hours will be needed – 8am to 7pm so flexibility is key.
Job specification:
• Playing and entertaining
• Weaning
• Changing nappies
• Nursery duties
• Organising and arranging activities
• Organising and arranging playdates/playgroups
• Putting down for naps
• Sterilising bottles
• Keeping her play area and nursery clean and tidy, laundry for the child
Candidate specification:
• Experience within a similar role with babies and toddlers
• Someone loving, kind and patient
• Knowledge of activities local to Kensington/Notting Hill
• Experience with early weaning – little one has allergies
• Good level of English
• Able and willing to travel with the family to the USA periodically (a couple of times per year) and internationally for holidays
Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
