The Dairy Focus Consultant will participate in face to face selling to the company's new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions. This role is part of Cargill’s Dairy Nutrition Sales team and will be supporting the New York and Vermont territories.
Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment and delivery of sales proposals and conducting detailed presentations for effective customer solutions.Develop strong client and internal team relationships.Plan daily activities, including customer visits and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.Follow market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of two years of related work experienceAbility and willingness to travel locally on a daily basisValid driver’s license in good standing Position InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position. The expected salary for this position is $65,000 – 75,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
