Assembly D2 Option will now offer the below: (15-20 years of experience) + Pay $31 + OT: $70 + Per Diem $168 a day for 5 days **Job Description** Our company is seeking Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanics (Level B, C, or D) to support various production areas across different airplane programs. This role involves working in a manufacturing assembly environment, utilizing training and certification knowledge to complete assigned tasks. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, reading work instructions, and identifying necessary tools, parts, and equipment to ensure defect-free work. **Responsibilities** + Complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain required certifications. + Use computers in a production environment. + Set up and validate jigs and other tooling setups. + Perform close tolerance drilling and installations in critical aircraft structural areas. + Use calibrated precision measuring tools. + Utilize various fastener removal tools and techniques. + Work with CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic), aluminum, and titanium structural materials, including drilling, sanding, and shaping. + Read and comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications. + Use software applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Windows, and SAP. + Wear appropriate protective clothing/equipment as determined by the task. + Use various structural assembly hand tools and air tools. + Inspect work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD). + Perform physical tasks such as climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, and working in confined spaces. **Essential Skills** + Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). + 1+ years of experience with software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications. + 1+ years of experience with aircraft structural parts fabrication, assembly processes, and procedures. + 1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications in English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Ability to work in confined spaces. + Ability to work with hazardous chemicals. + 3+ years of experience with structural repair operations involving the 787 or other legacy models (727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777). + 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, aviation and/or fabrication. + Completion of a degree or certification from a trade school and/or A&P license. **Why Work Here?** Our company is committed to being the leader in commercial aviation by offering airplanes and services that deliver superior design, efficiency, and value to our customers and a superior flying experience to their customers.
