Dallas Diversity Equity and Inclusion Intern

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities.

The Dallas GEDI Initiative (Gender, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) is a safe, collaborative space where the diverse needs of our refugee clients can be discussed and efforts can be made to implement positive change with their needs in mind. It is a responsive, creative space that engages current staff as co-creators and encourages expression, enhanced wellbeing, and community connectedness. (When we use the term women+, this includes women of all ages, all abilities, diverse ethnic and religious affiliation and diverse sexual orientation and gender identities.)
