We are seeking a dynamic Damage Control Operations Manager to help lead and manage our Vehicle Handling department in Jacksonville, FL. Position Summary: The Damage Control Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong technical proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis, reporting, and process documentation. The manager will lead a team to implement continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshoot quality issues, and optimize operational efficiency. What You'll Do: + Lead and manage damage control operations in the Vehicle Handling department. + Document damages using the VAR system and E-Work orders + Creating damage control excel spread sheets and turning them into insightful power point presentations for stakeholders + Interview, hire, and train new associates to ensure a highly skilled workforce. + Conduct daily planning meetings and safety briefings. + Ensure all work complies with Safety, SOPs, and customer requirements. + Oversee compliance with all applicable regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FRA, DOT, and customer standards by performing audits and inspections. + Drive continuous improvement in both the quality and efficiency of the services provided. + Exercise independent judgment on critical decisions, including hiring, promotions, and employee status changes. What You Bring: + High School Diploma or GED required. + Supervisory experience is essential. + Microsoft Office proficiency is a must. + Comfortable using the latest damage control software and technology + Keen eye for quality assurance (attention to detail) + A valid state driver's license. + Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude and a safety-first mentality. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with others.
