The Damage Prevention Specialist will serve as a liaison between the Damage Prevention group, C Spire and Non-C Spire contractors, or other utility owners.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School diploma required.Must have completed a technical certification in Utility Line Locating.Must have at least 5 years work experience related to both utility line locating and fiber optics outside plant Construction.Must have the capacity to work within different software systems related to 811 ticketing and documentation.Must possess interpersonal communication skills.Must be able to work in high stress situations.Must excel at conflict resolution. Must have exceptional clerical and written communication skills. Must have exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., Must be able to work evenings and weekends as requested. Must have no limiting physical conditions. Travel is required.
