DART Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) Reporting Head
The Global Head of Wholesale Credit Risk Reporting will oversee the production of key management and regulatory reports for Wholesale Credit Globally. This role reports to the Head of Data Analytics Reporting and Tech (DART) and requires a broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to Wholesale Credit Risk reporting and data, as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the function within the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required to influence a wide range of audiences. This role engages in both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the area managed, and other related areas within the organization. The Global Head will develop medium to long-term plans and execute functional strategics for reporting of Wholesale Credit Risk. This leader will provide input into the strategic decisions affecting the DART function. They will have full management responsibility of multiple teams, including management of people, budget, and strategic planning. The Global Head will have the authority to negotiate and make independent decision on issues/activities that have a critical impact or influence on key reporting and data initiatives in the Risk organization. **Key Responsibilities** · Lead a Global organization of ~150 direct staff. · Develop and deliver the strategy for Independent Risk Management’s core infrastructure pertaining to wholesale credit risk reporting, limit monitoring and data initiatives. · Partner with Data & Tech Transformation to document process flows, critical data elements, identification, and remediation of data gaps for wholesale credit risk. · Partner with Data & Tech Transformation and Technology on the development and implementation of the core infrastructure and IT-enabled solutions (ITeS) to drive timely, complete, and accurate wholesale credit reporting capabilities. · Act as a key stakeholder for aggregation of wholesale credit risk in Enterprise and Risk-specific reports to Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc. · Partner with Wholesale credit risk team and 1LoD partners for developing appropriate reporting during crisis situations across multiple dimensions of risk management. · Provide Compliance oversight of BCBS239 Heightened Standards and Regulation YY regulatory reporting. Requires strong understanding of BCBS 239 standards for wholesale credit risk reports covering lending and counterparty credit risk metrics. · Deliver end-to-end process improvements and simplification. · Proactive engagement with key stakeholders internally and externally. · Establish and maintain an appropriate control environment. · People management including capacity planning, talent development, performance management, employee engagement initiatives and location strategy. **Skills and Qualifications** · 15+ years relevant experience including leading a large global organization. · Ability to interface with senior leaders and Executive Management. · Strong partnership, collaboration skills and ability to influence and drive results. · Forecasting, strategic thinking, and ability to develop solutions for crisis management. · Successful management of BAU processes and execution of global projects. · Proactively identify issues, and implement remediation plans, with timely delivery. · Strong decision-making skills. · Flexibility and adaptability; ability to balance strategic and the tactical initiatives. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Familiarity with US and International regulatory requirements for risk reporting. · Familiarity with key credit risk metrics suited for risk monitoring and reporting in lending and counterparty credit risk. **Education** · Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree preferred in mathematics, computer science, or engineering disciplines, managerial experience. ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family Group:** Risk Management ------------------------------------------------------ **Job Family:** Risk Reporting ------------------------------------------------------ **Time Type:** Full time ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location:** New York New York United States ------------------------------------------------------ **Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:** $250,000.00 - $500,000.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
