**Majors We’re Looking For** : Industrial Design, Packaging Science, Engineering, or related fields
**Target Start Date** : May 19th, 2025
**Rate of Pay:** $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
**Schedule** : Full-time (40 hours per week)

We’re looking for dynamic, forward-thinking students who want to make an impact! If you have skills in **Illustrator** and **Photoshop** , enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and are eager to get hands-on experience, this role is perfect for you.

**What You'll Do in the DASL Co-Op Role**
At our Design and Sample Lab (DASL) in Rochester, NY, you’ll work directly with our Sales, Innovation, and Marketing teams to design and **develop innovative flexible packaging prototypes** for top brands. You’ll contribute to projects that rethink traditional packaging by working on designs that bring ideas to life!
Adequate skills in **Illustrator and Photoshop** are required.
In this fast-paced, creative environment, you will:
+ **Brainstorm i** deas and create models
+ **Size** flexible packaging for customers currently in rigid containers or corrugate
+ **Design** and **develop** flexible packaging prototypes
+ Work on **graphic design** projects for new packaging,
+ **Create** **renders or illustrations** of flexible packaging,
+ **Develop solutions** with flexible packaging for customers seeking to differentiate themselves in the market.
+ Use **Adobe Illustrator** to create artwork for packaging concepts
+ **Create mock-ups** and **test** them against customer specifications
+ Work hands-on in a **lab setting,** follow housekeeping procedures for the lab and the equipment
+ Maintain a **safe** and clean work environment
+ Keep supplies and materials **organized** and stored properly
