Job Description

About the Job: 

As an External Data Procurement Partner, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and ensuring the Data Taxonomy implementation onto the Marketplace and PLAY systems. You will work closely with our Procurement teams across the BUs and R&D functions, EDA teams to support the organization’s data acquisition and sourcing needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Administer and maintain the Data Taxonomy across all of the systems within the organization. Ensure the L1, L2 and L3 Taxonomy implementation across the Organization. Monitor the key metrics and opportunities to assess the cost savings Provide the support and guidance to Procurement leads across the organization Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize data extracts, dashboards, and visualizations to support taxonomies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLAY tool. Document and maintain administration processes and best practices. Conduct training and provide support for Data & Data service users within the organization. Implement and enforce data governance policies and standards within the PLAY/ARIBA/Market place environment. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Data Science or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience working with Procurement, including at least 3 years with procurement tools and its implementation. Proficiency in tools and technologies for the procurement governance implementation   Good understanding of data acquisition concepts and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
