In this job, you will be responsible for supporting Operational Performance through involvement in data gathering, analysis, reporting, and communication with multiple levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be skilled in quantitative analysis, visualizations/presentations, strategy, and planning. The individual seeks solution options by employing advanced analytics and tools to assist in the discovery of operational and service excellence opportunities and adeptly serves consultatively with clients to drive results.

Responsibilities Participates in activities to determine the financial and operational impact of changes in company assets or the business environment Prepares financial review analysis, queries databases, gathers data Completes analysis projects, including, but not limited to, pricing analysis, forecast modelling and performance Collaborates across departments, develops analysis models, and documents assumptions and results Delivers support for evaluations of market structures, outcomes, and the periodic reporting of market status and results Contributes to the implementation of market design initiatives, driving cross-functional internal teams to consensus on selected market design approaches Assists the development of the annual budget and long-range financial forecast, including analysis of forward-looking income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Coordinates the integration of data and forecasts from multiple sources to support these studies Utilizes spreadsheets, databases, and other software applications to develop tools for analysis projects using appropriate technical information and skills Updates forecast processes and documentation to ensure they are efficient, reviewable, and reliable A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Five or more years of experience defining system requirements and project scope.

Preferred Qualifications
 

Master’s degree or higher degree in Business, Computer Science and/or related field Two or more years' experience in data extraction, transformation, and preparation for reporting and data dissemination Two or more years' experience with advanced knowledge of analytics software or Structured Query Language (SQL) for applicable data and basic knowledge of data warehouses Strong proficiency with MS tools (PPT, Excel, Power Bi, Visio, Project, Planner, CoPilot etc.) Exceptional communication skills, with track record of converting data to easily consumable decks, dashboards and written material Proven experience in tackling complex issues, delivering analytical solutions, and driving organizational change Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail Self-starter with the ability to question status quo, influence change and provide forward- thinking solutions Passion for collaborating with teams – both internal and external to solve complex business problems and arrive at solutions

 

Additional Information
 

This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days.  Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.  Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
