Data Analyst, Global Strategy Analytics

**About the Role**
The Global Strategy Analytics team provides top-quality business performance reporting, targets, and analysis to enable Uber's Community Operations (CommOps) to make strategic, data-driven decisions. As a member of the team, you will apply your strategic and analytical thinking to answer critical business questions. This will entail designing and running deep analyses to support critical business performance reporting functions, working collaboratively across teams (Product, Operations, Finance etc.) to generate insights, and sharing your recommendations with senior leadership to drive global change.
For this role, you should have a strategic mindset and data-driven approach to problem-solving, be able to collaborate cross-functionally, and utilize leadership skills to articulate and present information to senior stakeholders across the business. In this highly visible role you will get to impact the future of Uber by helping drive global impact across the products and services we offer.

1. Support executive-level business performance reporting and insights generation processes
2. Help drive alignment across teams to ensure consistency in metrics definitions and reporting
3. Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve the experience of our customers interactions
4. Develop analytical frameworks to support Global CommOps decision making
5. Build and maintain scalable data products
---- Basic Qualifications ----
1. 3+ years experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a within a similar role
2. BA/BS Degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Operations, Research, or other quantitative focus (or equivalent work experience)
3. Ability to write complex SQL queries
4. Experience building dashboards with Tableau, PowerBI (or similar data visualization tools)
---- Preferred Qualifications ----
1. Experience with Python is a plus
2. Experience with Generative AI is a plus
3. Experience working with customer support or customer insights
4. Experience presenting to executive leadership teams
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$113,000 per year - USD$125,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$113,000 per year - USD$125,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
