Data Analyst, TOM DTT Data & Analytics
Description The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team is seeking a Data Analyst to support the TOM Driver Training Team (DTT). The person in this role will identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our TOM driver network. This position will lead the development and execution of new driver training initiatives designed to improve overall efficiency and meet the ever-growing demand for trained Amazon drivers. In this position, you will be responsible for building the metrics, tools, and reports to support Amazon's growth. Key job responsibilities - Provide data management processes, organizing data and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for process performance - Retrieve and analyze large sets of data using Excel, SQL, or QuickSight - Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage processes and make effective decisions - Take ownership of reporting processes to ensure that each report is accurate and timely with a high degree of customer focus in resolving data discrepancies - Innovate to improve customer experience - Document and maintain solutions to promote visibility, ensure maintainability, and knowledge transfer Basic Qualifications - Experience with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications - 1+ years of experience conducting data analysis (dealing with large complex data) - 1+ years experience extracting and processing data using SQL Preferred Qualifications - Experience using data visualization tools such as AWS QuickSight, PowerBI, or Tableau - Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling - Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions - Strong documentation skills, ensuring that code and SQL queries are well-documented and easily understandable by other team members Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
