At Siemens GBS, we are migrating from legacy systems like SAP and PeopleSoft to Workday – and we're looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy HR and Payroll Data Integration Analyst to help us make that transition successful.
You’ll play a critical role ensuring that employee data flows seamlessly and accurately between systems.
What you’ll do:
Validate, reconcile, and ensure successful migration of HR and payroll data from legacy systems (SAP/PeopleSoft) into Workday.Monitor integration flows and identify discrepancies or errors in master data, benefits, compensation, or tax setup.Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to implement data fixes and process improvements.Build reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI or Tableau to track progress, error rates, and ensure data quality.Participate in testing cycles, validating end-to-end integration scenarios and ensuring all payroll-relevant data is complete and accurate.Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends to support continuous improvement in the integration process.What we’re looking for:
Proficient in EnglishExperience working with Workday, SAP HCM, PeopleSoft, or similar HR/Payroll systems.Knowledge of data integration tools and processes (e.g., PECI, EIB, ETL frameworks).Strong skills in data validation, mapping, cleansing, and reconciliation.Solid understanding of HR and payroll processes, including pay areas, benefits, taxes, transfers, and union configurations.Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query) and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Analytical mindset with ability to interpret large data sets and translate them into actionable insights.Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and within global project environments.What you’ll validate and work with:
