Description We are in search of a Data Analyst to be a part of our team, based North of Dallas, TX. The individual will be a key player in the retail industry, using their analytical abilities to gather requirements from leadership and executives and deliver reports for those individuals using SQL, DAX and Functions within MS Power BI. You will be instrumental in transforming data into actionable insights and reports within Power BI and fostering a data-driven culture within our team. Responsibilities + Design visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports utilizing tools like Power BI to effectively communicate insights + Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into analytical projects + Translate intricate analytical findings into clear, understandable recommendations for upper management + Lead multiple analytics projects concurrently from start to finish, managing timelines and resources effectively + Develop strategies for project plans, timelines, and resource allocation + Ensure the successful delivery of insights that influence business performance + Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy + Stay up-to-date on industry trends, tools, techniques, and emerging technologies in advanced analytics and data science + Experiment with new methodologies to continuously improve analytical capabilities + Challenge the conventional with data and innovative thinking. Requirements What you bring to the table: + Bachelor's Degree with 3 + Years of Professional Experience or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc. + Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for creating visualizations and reports. + Exposure and a good understanding of the Dax Language. + An understanding and hands on experience with functions within Power BI and the DAX Language such as “CALCULATE,” “FILTER,” etc. + Demonstrable experience in SQL Programming, with a strong understanding of database concepts. + Experience with SQL - Structured Query Language for managing and organizing data. + Highly personable and able to set meetings with leadership and executives to gather requirements and translate those requirements for others to help build highly important reports within Power BI.
