Role description: 

Mainly provides support in data management, reporting, and administrative tasks on main platforms like Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC), Collaboration Hub, and other databases as needed. 

Role accountabilities: 

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Focus: Knowledge Management

Manage and maintain the database or knowledge site, ensuring the structure, organization, and taxonomy of the information are optimal for efficient retrieval and usability. Regularly review, update, and edit content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to quality standards. This includes verifying and validating data entries, correcting errors, and addressing inconsistencies. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of information in the SharePoint site. This involves conducting audits, performing data integrity checks, and resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise. Create and maintain appropriate metadata and tagging systems to enhance searchability and categorization of information within the database. This involves assigning relevant keywords, tags, and attributes to facilitate accurate and efficient retrieval of data. Work closely with content creators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather and incorporate new information into the database. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and data sharing across different platforms or systems. Provide support and assistance to users accessing the database, including responding to queries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them in utilizing the available resources effectively. Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and training materials for database users, ensuring they understand how to navigate and leverage the system effectively. Implement and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive information stored in the database. Adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, such as data privacy and confidentiality, in handling and managing data. Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to database management and content maintenance. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose strategies to improve the overall usability and value of the database.

Data Analysis

Analyze large amounts of complex data to provide the business with fact-based insights Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets Identify problematic areas with the data and research to determine the best course of action to correct the data Develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly Sales Pipeline Report from Oracle Sales Cloud Develop dashboards Develop application through PowerApps to automate reporting processes Help translate data into visualizations, metrics, and goals Descriptive and predictive analytics Contribute, participate, and support continuous process improvement activities Perform administrative duties as required

Qualifications & Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or any related field At least 3 years proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, and PowerApps Strong adaptability to data analytics and visualization tools Strong knowledge and experience in database management and information organization Proficiency in data validation and quality assurance techniques Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information Strong attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration abilities A blend of analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and reporting acumen Quantitative mindset and analytic capabilities Ability to juggle multiple projects at once Ability to work under multiple tight deadlines and respond to last minute requests and compressed production schedules Ability to take initiative and exercise commitment and dedication while working independently or with a team Experience in working in a fast-paced environment with all levels of professionals
