In your new role as a cyber security professional, you will protect our customer’s most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats including cyber-attacks, insider threats, rogue network devices, and malicious software and applications. You will work with a team of like-minded professionals to share and collaborate upon your ideas to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure, architecture, and configuration deployments. Your ideas and contributions will matter.

 

This is a contingent position based upon customer approval.

Responsibilities

Skyepoint Decisions is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes. 

 

This position will work a rotating hybrid schedule in Rosslyn, VA or Beltsville, MD. WEEK 1 - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote WEEK 2 - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

 

As a Data Analyst you will play a pivotal role in consolidating and integrating existing data warehouses, data marts, and applications into an Integrated Enterprise Data Warehouse. 

 

You will:

Perform detailed analyses of data and data source characteristics, relationships, and logic necessary for the effective implementation of information systems.Identify and document problems traced to both original data quality issues and system outputs, and recommend solutions.Combine domain knowledge and knowledge of system performance requirements in supporting system development and performance testing processes.Provide recommendations for normalization to enable data visualizations to be developed and delivered.Translate complex concepts into clear, compelling “stand-alone” graphic products.Manage complex projects and schedules with multiple objectives and priorities.Work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across organizational boundaries to accomplish mission goals.Work under tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in data analysis and identification and documentation of data characteristics and entity relationships.Possess at least ONE of the following certifications:CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CCNA-Security, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), CND, CSSLP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, GSLC, Security+ CE, SSCP, PPDA, Agile IC, or SNOW App DevDemonstrated knowledgeable with Tableau and other data visualization tools and techniques.Ability to create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources.Expertise in creating, deploying, and managing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau.Programming experience with frameworks, including Python & SQL.Must be a U.S. citizen.An active Secret security clearance.The ability to obtain a final TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS). Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and management within Azure.Demonstrated knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestrating data workflows.Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics for integrating big data and data warehousing solutions.

Flexible Work Environment

Compensation:

Salary Range: $88,000-$105,000

The SkyePoint Decisions salary range for this position is a general guideline only. It represents an estimated range for this position and is just one piece of our total compensation package. 

Salary at SkyePoint is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work schedule, the candidate’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, market data and business considerations.
