What You'll Do:

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst to support our commercial teams from our Seoul office. As part of a team of passionate analysts, you must thrive be proactive, detail-oriented and eager to learn and keep up with quickly evolving product landscape.

We sit between the business and technology groups, unveiling the magic of the Criteo engine for our local teams and for our clients, and transforming Big Data into Actionable Data. You’ll be given access to one of the world’s biggest datasets, and the computing power to exploit it.

Working closely with commercial and technical teams, we provide actionable recommendations based on high quality analysis and understanding of our industry, in order to meet the objectives from our clients and grow our business. Our initiatives have concrete and measurable impacts.

We get to play with exciting technologies and solutions to grow the portfolio of analysis that we offer to internal and external stakeholders. We are always excited to take initiatives and enjoy starting from an idea, translate it into a complex data analysis, develop the results with our commercial partners and present it with them to our clients.

About APAC Analytics team

Our APAC Analytics team integrates a network of Data Analyst experts present in multiple locations including Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Gurgaon and Beijing. As part of our Korea team, you will focus on supporting towards our top clients in the market. You will contribute as well through expertise sharing and collaborations to our broader APAC business beyond Korea borders.

Creating actionable insights from massive commerce/ad data (less granularity data) is what gives Criteo its unique value. Using your creativity and analytical skills, you will be able to deep-dive into Data

Detect root causes of issues impacting the performance of our clients’ advertising campaigns through analysis of our huge data set, and propose concrete measures to fix them in link with a range of internal partners on technical, commercial or product side.

Data-Driven Consultancy for Internal Stakeholders: Act as a data-driven consultant to internal stakeholders, providing decision support through advanced analysis, insights, and recommendations. Use your expertise to inform strategy, improve processes, and drive data-informed decisions across various teams.

Conduct in-depth analyses to deliver insights and propose optimization strategies to clients and agencies, ensuring they achieve their KPIs and maximize satisfaction. Collaborate closely with commercial partners and internal support teams to provide actionable recommendations, aimed at maximizing business impact and fostering the expansion of our newest solutions through mid-term strategic planning.

Modeling with data science techniques will give new growth opportunity for our clients. With global experts, you will build, test, and analyze analytics models in collaboration with data scientists and engineers.

Developing scalable solutions based on your technical expertise and PM skill is crucial to creating efficiency in our task and making a big impact on our busine

Develop and share deep knowledge on our technology, data platform, products and tools and be active part of cross-team initiatives within your market and beyond

Learn and apply your analytics skills with advanced analysis, models, automation schemes and projects leveraging on SQL, Tableau, Python and other technologies to maximize impact and scalability

Who You Are:

Your work experience: 4~5+ years in an analytical role or equivalent experience; bonus point if you have a good understanding of digital advertising technologies (cookies, DSP, SSP, RTB, etc.), retailer business (client segmentation / profiling, CRM, product categorization) or data driven insight creation & consulting or Experience working in or with agencies, especially in data analytics,

Your academic background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative or business field (Engineering ,Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Finance, …) with a focus on Analytics.

Your Mindset : You are passionate about handling large, low granularity data sets and enjoy playing with data and looking for patterns and ideas that can bring value to your client

Your thinking Process: You are either a critical thinker, who identifies issues or areas for improvement, or a hypothetical thinker, who can imagine possibilities and explore their consequences for solving problems.

Proactive and Collaborative attitude: You actively seek opportunities to share ideas, insights, and solutions, taking initiative to address challenges with data-driven recommendations. You excel at working across diverse teams, fostering an environment of mutual learning, valuing others' input, and building strong cross-team relationships to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and collective success.

Your Analytics skills: You are knowledgeable and passionate about Analytics in areas such as data automation, statistics, predictive approaches, and finding insight

Your technical skills: You are very familiar with working with databases using SQL, and are a fast learner eager to learn new skills when necessary; big bonus point if you have experience in Tableau, Python, Dataflow, or ready to learn these skills in a short time

Your business skills: You are client focused, able to influence and convey clear messages and straightforward recommendations to other people; bonus point if you have experience in client-facing jobs

Your language skills: You have full professional working proficiency in Korean and English, and can smoothly interact with a variety of nationalities

Your personality: You are responsible, versatile, autonomous, able to multi-task and prioritize; you like to interact and collaborate with people from various backgrounds, mindsets and cultures
