Data Analyst **ROLE: Data Analyst** **REPORTS TO: Demand Planning Manager** **LOCATION: Barcelona Hub** **THE ROLE:** The Demand Analyst executes daily task and provide analysis to improve the forecast generated by the system and reduce the amount of manual touches by the demand planner. **Key Success Measures** · System Forecast error (MAPE90, MEPE 4-6) – measures the forecast error over a specific period. • % Forecast completeness – 2-year long range forecast. · System forecast SPP3 – evaluates the bias in the 3-month forecast by measuring the deviation from the actual demand over a 3-month period. · System forecast SPP1 – evaluates the bias in the 1-month forecast by measuring the deviation from actual demand over a 1-month period. **Core responsibilities** · Maintain and review segmentation in o9: setup parameters, run segmentation job, review segments assignment · Review system forecast output in o9, check largest deviations to detect potential technical or data issues, review Forecast Stability (Cycle on Cycle changes) and the Forecast Completeness, execute necessary corrections as part of monthly process · Ensure correctness of long-term system forecast disaggregation to consensus level and manage critical adjustments · Review output of o9 outlier correction, refine parameters, identify the need for additional manual history cleansing and take corrective actions · Analyze Machine Learning model performance, review impact of forecast drivers, flag driver quality gaps to BU team · Analyze Short-term model accuracy, root cause key gaps and introduce corrective actions · Analyze Long-term model accuracy, root cause key gaps and introduce corrective actions · Generate reports to support business analytics **Continuous Improvement** · Use the processes, systems, and tools available to ensure all tasks are value add. · Identify improvement opportunities for the area of responsibility, raising these as appropriate and implementing successfully (where possible). **KEY INTERFACES** · Data Scientists · Central Demand planners · Market planners **ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:** Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a Supply Chain discipline. · Strong analytical skills. · Knowledge in forecast modeling · Delivering results. · Working to deadlines. · Working as part of a team. · Coding experience is a plus **OUR BENEFITS** Our competitive remuneration and perks will be matched with your experience and knowledge.
