Overview The Data Analyst will specialize in working with large and complex data sets to interpret, analyze, and visualize data, providing insights based on extracted information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data visualization tools, and experience working in the insurance industry. How you'll make an impact Examine and identify data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision-making to increase efficiency and automation Solid understanding and working knowledge in SQL for analysis, data profiling, extraction, transformation, and validation Proven experience with modern data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau, Domo), with a preference for DOMO and Power BI Work cross-functionally to gather, define, and document report requirements. Collect data, build data sets, create analyses and dashboards, and present deliverables to the user community Maintain and enhance existing reports and dashboards Maintain and create business logic documentation for new and existing reports and dashboards Perform testing to validate the accuracy of reports and data integrity Conduct manual data research and present findings to business users Support and train internal users as needed Compile and prepare data for customer analysis Traits of a Successful Candidate: Desire to make an impact, manage multiple tasks, and shift priorities quickly Detail-oriented, strong time-management, analytical, and inquisitive Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to interact effectively with different business departments, team members, and external clients at all levels Preferred Skills: Proficient in Excel and Python Ability to work independently with general supervision Strong problem-solving ability Familiarity and practical knowledge with Excel Ability to handle multiple assignments to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and keep everyone informed on project progress Commitment to supporting team members and ensuring collective success About You Required: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
