Data Analyst

This is a great opportunity to work as a Data Analyst in a dynamic IT Data team responsible for the delivery of robust Data solutions linking our core applications and building the foundations of our centralised data platform. The Data Analyst will be responsible for engaging with colleagues across Sage to capture, analyse and document data flow requirements and understanding business processes in relation to the data and supporting systems that underpin these processes. Working closely with the Development Manager and the Data Delivery team, the Data Analyst will also ensure requirements are understood and translated into the relevant technical specifications for Data Development backlog stories. Key Responsibilities: 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: • Act as the ‘front door’ into the IT Data scrum teams, developing close relationships with the Functional Business Partners to understand and triage engagement requests • Act as the interface between the Business Analysts, wider IT delivery teams and the Solution Architecture on all data requirements. • Collaborate with the IT Data team to design and develop solutions by providing the data needs aligned to the business requirements • Work/Liaise with senior leadership, wider business and IT team as required. • Ensure key data aspects of the project are appropriately understood by various stakeholders. • Carry-out data analysis and identify data integrity and quality challenges • Provide Data Analysis expertise across all business priority initiatives • Answer urgent business questions through deep dive analytics • Support data users across the business in their data analysis.
