Position Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining analytics models/tools that provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. He/She will be working closely with all HAECO business units and collaboratively with Group Digital and IT to develop and maintain analytics tools and models.

What You'll Do Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver a spectrum of data services, including data analysis, visualisation, prediction, generating insights, data pipelining, etc. Assist in development and enhancement of data management practices, data processing and analytic workflows Prepare and maintain technical specification and documentation Establish data source connection with internal stakeholders Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data Create layers of dataflow and development data model Establish automated dashboards and report Perform ad-hoc tasks related to data as assigned What You'll Need Functional and other Relevant Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience direct related in data analysis, data science, business intelligence, marketing research, and/or IT system development. (Part of production experience in line or base maintenance can be counted as this experience) Production experience in line or base maintenance is an advantage Hands-on experience in implementing data solutions using computing tools for data analytic tasks (e.g. Microsoft Power BI) Ability to obtain data and analyse it to identify insights and opportunities Experience in Microsoft Power Platform is an advantage Experience in coding SQL, Python, etc is an advantage

 

Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Business Administration, Social Science or relevant disciplines Good command of English, Chinese (Cantonese), both spoken and written

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Data Analyst.
