Data Analyst
Description We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team and revolutionize our data collection and reporting processes. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming manual data gathering into efficient, automated systems. We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of experience in data analysis, a strong command of SQL scripting, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel, and a passion for creating impactful data solutions. Responsibilities: Process Automation Development: + Analyze existing manual data collection processes and identify opportunities for automation. + Design and implement automated data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. + Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data manipulation, querying, and reporting. + Create and manage data pipelines to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Data Analysis and Reporting: + Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs). + Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, modeling, and reporting. + Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to support business decision-making. + Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed. Data Management: + Ensure data quality and consistency across all data sources. + Document data processes, procedures, and workflows. + Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting needs. + Work to create a plan for data storage, and future data growth. Process Improvement: + Work with stake holders to understand current process, and identify pain points. + Create a complete document of the new automated process. + Train users on the new automated process. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis. + Proficiency in SQL scripting for data manipulation and querying. + Strong experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling. + Proven ability to automate manual data processes. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: + Experience in the manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics industry. + Familiarity with data warehousing concepts. + Experience with other data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R). + Experience with cloud-based data platforms. + Experience with process documentation.
