JOB S UMMARY:
Unde r th e genera l directio n o f th e Manager – Data & Program Analytics, the Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Draws on expertise in data analysis and visualization to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that will drive Union growth and promote operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

2. Completes assigned p r ojects in a tim e l y manner , withi n projec t re s ources.
3. Meets project objectives, providing systems t h a t operat e i n a cost-e f f ectiv e manner.
4. Collect, clean, and transform large data sets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
5. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
6. Develop and implement data models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and define data requirements.
8. Design and execute experiments and A/B tests to evaluate the impact of different strategies and initiatives.
9. Build and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
10. Monitor and evaluate data quality and identify data gaps or inconsistencies, taking necessary steps for data cleansing and enrichment.

12. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and apply them to enhance data-driven capabilities within the organization.
13. Collaborate with technical teams to optimize data storage, integration, and retrieval processes.

1. Develops detailed system design specifications to serve a s a guide for system/ p rogr a m development using at least t wo B u siness I ntelligence a nd An a ly t ics tools.
2. 2. Works collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, simultaneously managing multiple projects and priorities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1 (a). An Associate’s degree from a recogniz e d institutio n wit h speci a lizatio n i n Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Information M a nageme n t or a related discipline
AND
(b). Three years of satisfactory, progress i ve e x perience in data analytics in a b u siness environment incorporating data analysis tools such as SQL , Pyt h o n, R or other similar programming language s acce p tabl e t o th e man a gement o f th e Information Technology Dep a rtment. Knowledge of Rational databases and data warehouse, data lakes, graph and NoSQL technology, data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Splash BI are requires. Familiarity with Oracle and SQL Server as well as a so lid understanding of statistical concepts and experience are required.
