The Role
This is an opportunity for a data analyst to build experience at a growing software company in a supportive, diverse, and hardworking data team.  This contract-based role involves analyzing data quality, applying data maintenance activities, and acquiring and integrating publicly available data into our proprietary data sets.  We are looking for candidates with various levels of experience and compensation and titles will be adjusted accordingly.What You’ll DoWork with product managers to understand data quality requirements, data sources, and maintenance requirementsBuild quality checks, validation rules, and other processes to ensure data qualityConfigure web scrapes and ETL pipelines to integrate data sources into our systemsDocument the above processesRequirementsExcellent attention to detail, and a meticulous approach, especially when working with dataPrior experience with Web-scrapingUnderstanding of: SQL, Python, Regular expressions, & XPathsDemonstrated ability to interpret and follow written instructions, seek clarification where needed, and assess the output of a Web scrape against the written requirementsAble to document work with precision and clarityGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishNice to HavePrior experience with/understanding of: Web scraping platforms, XPath selectors, Document Object Models (DOM), & AWS#LI-Remote
