Data Analyst H/F

The Data Analyst will be part of the Data & Reporting Team and will focus on driving quality and insights into data and reporting, specifically managing the end-to-end process from data collection within a network of insurers, analysis of data and providing reports with actionable insights to our multinational clients.

Furthermore, the Data Analyst is defining and translating business requirements into IT infrastructure and tool requirements. The role will involve individual training and guidance within the team, focusing on underlying insurance knowledge linked to the field of Health and Life, as well as employee benefits

 

What you do/ Key Responsibilities

 

Function as data competence center for all internal stakeholders, maintaining data strategy and architecture, Collaboration with the reinsurance technical team to maintain and refine the data taxonomy and ensure data governance, aligned across all stakeholders of end-to-end process, Introducing a control system with clear KPIs for data management with a worldwide perspective, Collaboration with Network Insurers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence to data governance and secure & improve data delivery and quality standards. Including holding necessary training sessions for our international insurance partners, Performing and further improving the data collection from our global insurance network, including data monitoring and follow ups to ensure the highest data quality, Define, further improve and perform the client reporting for International Employee Benefits programs such as Pooling, Captive and Global Underwriting in alignment with Digital Solutions and in close collaboration with Sales & Account Management functions, Collaborate to improve quality standards and optimize and automate existing tools, Supporting key-change projects for all topics relevant to data quality and consistency along with technical experts and stakeholders, e.g. building and enhancing database(s) and reporting functionality within Allianz Global Benefits.

 

What you bring/Key Requirements

 

Qualifications:

University degree in economics, informatics, mathematics, actuarial and/or professional qualification, Mastery of SQL, database structures and MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook) including expertise in Excel macros and graphs, Extensive knowledge of MicroStrategy, Fluent in English; other languages an advantage.

 

Experiences:

Ideally 3-5 years relevant job experience as a data analyst or reporting expert, Highly organized and motivated self-starter who can deliver results with minimal direction, Proven analytical skills with a track record of delivering results to a wide array of recipients, Ability to quickly grasp what the team needs and offer suggestions and solutions, Naturally curious individual with the ability to quickly become an expert in the various data systems used by the team, Ability to multitask, with focus on details and execution quality within a global environment, Excellent communication skills
