Full-Time | £33,500 per year
Hours: 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Finance department. In this role, you will work with large datasets, uncover meaningful insights, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:Extract transactional data from online payment platforms (Shopify, Klarna, Clearpay, Layby) and analyse it against processed transactions.Conduct periodic sampling of credit balances.Develop KPIs to benchmark against past performance and enhance visibility of operational success.Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define analytical requirements and prioritise data-driven initiatives.Conduct statistical analyses, hypothesis testing, and predictive modelling to uncover actionable insights.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.Monitor and evaluate business processes and initiatives, providing optimisation recommendations.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and statistical techniques.
About You:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, and detail-focused individual with the following qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with expertise in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data analysis.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.Experience using NetSuite (Oracle).Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data analysis.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
