The primary role of the Data Analyst I involves the collection, analysis, and reporting of data. This data analysis and interpretation will be utilized to make data driven decisions and is imperative in providing guidance, recommendations, and strategic quality decisions as it pertains to Network Optimization. The Data Analyst also informs internal teams on opportunities for continuous improvement, develop cross-functional action plans, implement solutions and monitor results. The Data Analyst must provide leadership and demonstrate the ability to influence management to drive results within and across employee groups over which the Analyst has no direct reporting authority. Finally, the Data Analyst performs business analyst and project management tasks independently in planning and launching cross-functional programs and projects related to cost savings. **What You’ll Work On** + Performs data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. + Develops reports and queries to enhance performance of the project. + Processes daily and monthly reports for department metrics and performance to objectives. + Utilize a structured approach with conducting operational, commercial and strategic assessments of clinic network that informs strategic planning and process improvement opportunities. + Identifies target for improvement through analysis of exceptions and works with internal customer to cleanse data and reduce exceptions. + Partner with analytical and technical resources to leverage data and build a network optimization model that allows for data-driven decision making. + Leverage visual tools such as Microsoft Power BI to analyze network data. + Identify internal process improvement opportunities resulting in business optimization efficiencies and margin improvement opportunities. + Identify and recommend new options for enhancement of our clinic network value stream. + Design project metrics and key performance indicators to measure improvement success. + Apply advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects. + Superior analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, in order to apply sound judgment to the most impactful initiatives. + Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate across functions, follow schedules, and adapt to changes. + Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills. + Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability. + Advanced Excel, financial acumen, and project planning skills. + Outstanding communication skills, an ability to effectively tailor communication to Executives, Team Members, Business Partners, and Customers. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in a related field + Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a data analytical environment + Considerable knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications + Proficiency in extracting, manipulating, gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting data to support various activities **Preferred Qualifications** + Organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrated initiative, stress and pressure resistance while maintaining a supportive, positive attitude + Skilled at learning and applying information quickly + Ability to assist in the coordination of presentations for senior-level management and follow up on action items as assigned + Ability to escalate issues to management as appropriate + Ability to prioritize and successfully complete multiple tasks with assigned deadlines + Analytical abilities in collating and refining data to make data-driven decisions and recommendations, including experience with Microsoft Power BI + Demonstrated ability to communicate across departmental disciplines while pursuing project goals effectively and constructively + Proven ability to provide sound conclusions and recommendations + Demonstrated organizational skills with a focus on detailed work + Familiarity with the Drug Screening Industry and/or Occupational Health Screening and Collection Site/Clinic environments Apply Now (https://www.jobs.abbott/us/en) * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
