Data Analyst II

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed business decisions. This role involves identifying patterns, creating visualizations, maintaining databases, and recommending process improvements. Analysts also examine and evaluate business systems and practices to drive efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and improve databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.Support business systems evaluation and recommend process enhancements.Code and re-code data to refine analytical outputs.Interpret raw data to identify trends and insights.Develop visualizations, such as dashboards and flowcharts, to communicate findings effectively.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor's degreeProficient in SQL for data extraction, storage, processing, and analysis, at least 3 years professional experience.Experience with databases such as Oracle and Snowflake. Familiarity with SQL client software, DB, ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Data Services), and command scripts. Advanced Proficiency in Excel, including macros and pivot tables. Experience with Microsoft Access for querying, table creation, and formula application. Experience with Power BI or Tableau.Ability to transform raw data into meaningful visual representations (charts, graphs, dashboards).Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey insights effectively. Ability to develop narratives and present findings using data-driven storytelling. Comfortable presenting reports and insights to senior colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment and work independently when needed.Experience with command scripts for automation preferred but not required.Experience with PL/SQL, writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, tracing, and performance tuning, preferredExperience in the following are preferred: DBT, Python Background, Jira, Confluence
