Data Analyst III

SUMMARY

This Data Analyst III position is part of RealPage Delivery Reports & Insights group, responsible for preparing, maintaining, and enhancing varieties of reports/dashboards to provide meaningful insights to Business Units within the in RealPage Delivery Organization.  The Data Analyst III is responsible for analyzing and managing data within Salesforce and the RealPage Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). This professional will work across multiple products, services, and teams to deliver reporting solutions and insights related to Delivery Operations and Product Implementations.  The Data Analyst will utilize SQL and Power BI reporting solutions to develop dashboards and reports addressing areas such as Product Backlog, Implementation Efficiency, Product Activations, Forecasts, and other key performance metrics.  The Analyst will have the opportunity to assist with reporting solutions spanning all the Delivery organization, which also includes Operations and Global Customer Support.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

Understand and become familiar with sources and types of data within the Delivery organization. Understand and analyze reporting requirements by working closely with team members, internal managers, and customers on projects to identify new business requirements and report designs. Develop reporting solutions using Power BI, Excel, and other tools per requirements. Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance testing of reporting solutions. Provide timely updates regarding report development progress, to include proactively identifying risks and issues that may interfere with on-time and on-scope delivery. Proactively analyze backlog order data to identify opportunities to accelerate activations and manage forecast data across implementation teams to ensure accurate revenue is forecasted. Prepare operations reports for revenue, productivity, and other key performance metrics. Create and maintain documentation of reporting definition and assumptions. Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving complex problems.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Capable of utilizing SQL, Power Query/Pivot, Power BI (DAX measures) or any similar Business Intelligence applications. Knowledgeable in Salesforce reports including ability to create dashboards and custom reports as needed providing productivity, revenue and resource visibility. With at least 3 years work experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, Dashboard Creation, Entry, and Audit. Advanced analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel including extensive use of Pivot Tables and formulas. Strong organizational & time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and proven ability to work independently and to deliver results on time. Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels in the organization and across departments, must be able to effectively communicate with external customers and internal business partners. Excellent English oral and written communication skills. Must be flexible in terms of work arrangement (Work On Site, Home and Hybrid)
