Data Analyst III

About the Role: In this role, you will build Python ETL processes with AWS and Data Bricks and perform database schema analysis using MySQL and Spark.

About the Team: The team manages core internal data sets of people, places, and things that are published to a data lake for use by other teams in the company that build user-facing products and services.

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.Perform statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, correlation analysis, and predictive modeling, to identify patterns and trends within datasets.Develop and maintain data warehouses and databases using SQL queries and Python.Create data visualizations and reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.Continuously explore new data analysis techniques and stay updated with industry’s best practices.Optimize data processing and analysis workflows for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements:

Proficiency in MySQL for querying and manipulating data.Proficiency in Python, Pandas, Data Frames, and Spark for data manipulation and analysis.ETL experience developing pipelines in AWS/Data Bricks.Expertise in statistical analysis methods, including hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and draw insights from complex data sets.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms is a plus.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.Self-motivated and proactive problem solver.
