Data Analyst Intern: ATL - Summer 2025

Your New Role 

This internship will be located in the ATL area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager’s in office schedule. WBD Learning provides employees with the skills and experiences to succeed in their careers. The Data Analyst Intern will help drive a best-in-class learning function by assisting in the design, implementation, and delivery of data metrics and development to support the capabilities of the organization. The Data Analyst Intern will research, develop, and implement projects to help improve the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of skills data across the organization. Insights provided by the Data Analyst Intern will help the team to identify and address key challenges for continuous improvement.

 
 
Your Role Accountabilities 

The intern will be treated as a professional and will gain experience in a robust, global business environment. Time will be allocated to coaching & mentoring, answering questions, listening, and relationship building. They will be given the opportunity to demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally and learn how to apply critical thinking skills in an enterprise setting, recognizing the implications of decisions.

Serve as a trusted partner by providing data insights and inform decision making to peers and managers

Develop and implementing executive summaries that provide insights, based on analytics, to enhance the L&D skills development roadmap

Work with teams in a highly technical environment who employ various methodologies to deliver products and services (Agile system development lifecycle, Scrum, Kanban, continuous integration, continuous deployment, waterfall, etc.)

 

 

Qualifications & Experience 

4th / 5th Year or Graduate Student: Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Analytics, or similar degree

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to tight deadlines is required

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is a must

Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience required (e.g. formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables)

Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required) 

Must be a rising Senior Undergrad or Graduate Student (18 years or older) 

Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended. 

Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program. 

 

Nice-to-Haves

Ability to conduct research to identify anomaly and analyze relevant data

Interpret and forecast data, as well as translate the metrics and business impact

Create and maintain various reports, tracking spreadsheets, and on demand ad-hoc report requests, as needed

Be creative and proactive in providing analytics, metrics, and key performance indicators

1+ years successful experience researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in a related field

Education and/or 1+ years’ experience in data mining, working with large data sets, and recommending innovative analytical solutions

Preferable Power BI or Tableau reporting knowledge

What to know before applying: 

The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks.   

Program date options: 

Option 1: June 2nd – August 15th  

Option 2: June 9th – August 22nd   

Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.  

Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.  

Interviewing will take place from February through mid-April. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
