Camping World is seeking interns for the summer 2025 internship season to join the Good Sam Analytics and Data Science department. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in data manipulation, transformation, and analysis, working with tools like Python, SQL, and PowerBI. What You’ll Do:
Understand and support company data analytics operations: Familiarize yourself with the data analytics systems and processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Collaborate on data science modeling and research: Assist in the development and implementation of data science models, particularly for Loyalty and Retail programs, as well as Lead Propensity Modeling.
Execute department tasks: Complete assignments given by your supervisors within your specific department, ensuring quality and timeliness.
Attend staff meetings: Stay informed on ongoing projects, departmental updates, and organizational changes by participating in regular meetings.
Analyze and implement insights across our lines of business: Assist in the interpretation and application of key metrics from internal dashboards.
Support analysis for new customer loyalty program: Provide assistance in evaluating the success and growth of the programs.
PowerBI data development: Contribute to the development and reporting of data insights using PowerBI, helping to create actionable business intelligence.
What You’ll Need to Have for the Role:
Currently pursuing a degree in Analytics, Computer Science/Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Neuroscience, or a related field.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Expected graduation date between December 2025 and July 2027.
Willingness to relocate to Chicago/Lincolnshire for the internship term (June 9 - August 15). Note that relocation or housing stipends are not provided.
Participate in a Capstone project, including delivering a final presentation to Executive Leadership.
Proficient in coding with Python and/or R, and SQL. Experience in data analysis tools is essential.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong ability to interpret data, solve problems, and think critically.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality regarding company information.
Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and technical aptitude to support business needs.
Display strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to handle frequent changes in priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency in resolving issues promptly, ensuring the timely completion of assignments.
Pay Range:
