Our client, a leader in the utility industry, is seeking a Data Conversion Specialist to join their team. As a Data Conversion Specialist, you will be part of the project management team supporting data migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Conversion Specialist

**What's the Job?**
+ Analyze data from legacy systems to understand data structures, relationships, and dependencies.
+ Develop data mapping documents that define how data will be transformed and migrated to the target system.
+ Extract data from legacy systems using appropriate tools and technologies.
+ Load transformed data into the target system using data migration tools and techniques.
+ Conduct thorough testing of data conversion processes to identify and resolve any issues.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience with Oracle CCB is essential.
+ Background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
+ Utility industry experience with a focus on customer experience.
+ Ability to manage the conversion approach with a leadership mindset.
+ Technical skills to resolve issues as they arise during the conversion process.
