Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Job is responsible for delivering the organization's outcome as stated:

Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for OCCQ.Interacts with OCCQ and service teams to identify questions and issues in data analysis and experiments.Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large data sets from disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources.Interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to the OCCQ owner.Establishes database management systems, standards, guidelines, and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design, logical database, data maintenance plan, and policy.Quality Data Analytics & Related Machine Learning ProjectsImprove overall Quality tasks/monitoring by applying Data Analytics & ML skills.Visualization automation development and maintenance for OCCQConsolidate requirementsDevelop, automate, deploy, provide training, maintain, and support visualization systems for the OCCQ departmentData ingestion is done into the database, AMAZON REDSHIFT/ TERADATA, etc.Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources.Customer Data Package (Factory Product Performance – FPP)Work within the department and with respective functional departments to compile factory product performance data packages for customersTo ensure the deadline is metMaking sure data packages are compiled with necessary information (data and charts) for functional team data input.Support CFEs and Factory team on data analysis requests on OCCQ DataProvide support to CFEs and factory quality data query and data analysis requestsSupport in the areas of running queries, analyzing data, and providing recommendations based on the data analysis objectiveSystem support and maintenanceIdentify data integrity issuesWork with owners of source systems to fix the root cause of data integrity issuesMaintaining OCCQ Data and System Team shared folder and websiteMaintain OCCQ server and shared foldersStructure department server and shared folder for easy information accessStructure department shared folders and maintain information securitySupplier Quality Analysis and ReportingGenerate regular and ad-hoc reportsSupport in the areas of running queries, analyze data, and provide recommendations base on the data analysis objective

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree, in Computer Science/Data Science/Information Technology/Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Minimum 15 years working experience, preferably with a statistical background and/or 10-12 years working experience in data science, data query/analysis, and Machine Learning Projects.Must possess strong hands-on expertise in developing database and message-oriented applications.The data storage industry is beneficial in terms of the business environment and challenges, products, competitors, and suppliers.Quality Management SystemResponsible for data import, export, and transformation applications and processesCreates clear documentation of operating procedures, database object layout, workflow diagrams and specifications for developed databases.Experience and expertise in any ML projects related and a data warehousing such as TERADATA, HAWQ, HIVE, IMPALA and HBASE or high-volume manufacturing environment or experience on BI tool (Spotfire or Tableau or equivalent), data ingestion tool (Alteryx or equivalent), analytics tools (JMP and Minitab or equivalent) MYSQL, MSSQL, Python, SQL.Experience using Large Language Models and identifying ways to incorporate them into new areas and applications.Experience with Python and any of the following Python data science / machine learning libraries: Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch
