Data Analytics and Reporting - Risk, Regulatory and Policy

Who we are:

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. At Goldman Sachs, SRE is responsible for the availability and reliability of our firm's most critical platform services, and ensures they meet the requirements of our internal and external users. What we are doing:

As part of the firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework, SRE is responsible for managing risk associated to reliability and resilience (Digital Resiliency) at the firm.  This includes responsibility for governance oversight, policies/standards, controls, reliability/resilience risk metrics, reporting, training, etc.  We are looking for an experienced associate to provide support of the risk oversight and program management for this effort. A successful candidate will work with the SRE lead, engineering teams that provide Digital Resiliency solutions and execution, risk governance functions at all lines, and the engineering teams embedded in the business; as well as representing the risks associated with Digital Resiliency within the firm's enterprise risk management framework.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong oganizational and priorization skillsProficient in data analysis and reporting toolsCoordinate tasks and responsibilites among team members and stakeholdersAbility to gather, analyze and create ad-hoc reports, mine data for trends, and work with engineers to automate reportingProficient with Excel, Jira, Powerpoint and Confluence (or equivalent)

Preferred qualifications:

Familiarity with regulatory compliance within the financial or technology sectors.Experience with enterprise risk management, including issue management and KPI/KRI definitionExperience with technology risk management and mitigation strategies in a tightly-regulated environments, such as financial servicesPrevious responsibility for oversight of risk management programsPrevious experience with technology resiliency and reliability (e.g., resiliency architecture, disaster recovery, capacity mangement, technology alerting/monitoring, logging, etc)Awareness of SREAbility to develop reporting and data analytics in Python, R or similar tooling
