Transaction Banking (TxB) aims to bring innovative solutions to traditional banking and lending activities. We are a global team of lenders, investors, risk managers, skilled marketers, web experts and banking specialists. We provide a suite of solutions to help our customers meet their financial goals. We make direct investments in and manage risk for a portfolio of corporate loans and securities. We help transform distressed communities through investments and loans of private capital.

Within TxB, Data & Analytics Platform is a global engineering team with pods across New York, London, Bengaluru, and Dallas. We are responsible for detailed technical design and development of data-intensive capabilities using existing and emerging technologies.

 

Who We Look For

As part of our global Data & Analytics Platform team, your role will include development, test, and rollout of Analytics platform features.  You will be conducting statistical analysis, business intelligence gathering, benchmarking, and reporting. 

Our platform is made of Java and Python services that inter-operate with Airflow, Flink, Kafka, Snowflake and various AWS services, as well as vendor and external systems. 

You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team.

This initiative is critical to the success of our organization and our roadmap. Services like liquidity analytics, billing, client onboarding, reporting, and others will rely on our data platform. Accurate, granular, complete, and timely data is a key differentiator and competitive advantage in the market.

We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, deliver high quality software and to be passionate about cutting edge data engineering.

 

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Interpret functional requirements and translate them into concrete deliverables for business analytics.Perform business analysis and reporting to support Product, Sales, Finance, and our clients.Perform data-driven analysis to provide granular insights & trends to help drive overall business growth. Work with Product and Sales to standardize how we visualize and interact with business KPIs.Work closely with Data Architects and Modelers to align to functional domains.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar technical domain.  Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Self-directed and self-motivated.Ability to build consensus with others and work independently to complete tasks on-time.Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python. Knowledge of data visualization using software such as AWS QuickSight, Superset, Tableau, Zeppelin. Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions.
 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in financial services.Experience with fintech product delivery. Ability to understand basic data modelling. Knowledge of statistical computing methods, quantitative methods, and regression analysis. Comfort with Agile operating model.
