Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visa's consulting division, working with Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy, proposition development, customer loyalty, operational optimisation, technology implementation and overall business profitability.
VCA is made up of three services lines - Advisory, Data Science and Managed Services. The Data Science team is comprised of dedicated data scientists, analysts, and engineers who create solutions that empower our clients through leveraging one of the largest datasets in the world, VisaNet.
What a Data Analytics Consulting Manager does at Visa:
To support our growing team, we are looking for a Data Analytics Consulting Manager who is passionate about the opportunity to use Visa’s rich data to tackle meaningful business problems, take a hands-on approach and manage data projects.
The day-to-day detail:
Data contact person with clients to understand their needs and translate client problems into actionable data analytics solutionsComfortable being onboarded into one or more client environments. This will include exploring client data infrastructure and systems, performing analysis and generating insights to support business initiativesHands-on delivery of high-quality data analytics projects, ensuring technical proficiency and attention to detailManage and work with offshore teams (data analysts, data scientists & data engineers) and juggling resources across multiple time zones to ensure successful project deliveryProducing written communication, visualisations and presentations for senior stakeholdersConfidently communicate with clients and stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysisPartner with wider Visa stakeholders, for example but not limited to, Account Executives, Consultants, Product, Hub teamsExperience in AI/ML would be a plus, but not a requirementThe position is based in Visa's Auckland office, with the expectation that there will be a significant proportion of time spent at client premises. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
