Join a 40-year legacy of excellence and find your future with us! *Major Accountabilities:* As a Data Analytics intern, you will support the commercial and technical organizations with advanced data analytic methods and modeling practices. * Assist with understanding and interpretation of data analysis and models * Assists with using various methods for extracting data from various systems and streamlines the process for modeling and analyzing information. * Assist with processing unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis. * Assist with development of selected projects with internal groups including Refining Operations, Crude Supply & Trading, Product Supply & Trading, Planning & Economics, and Strategic Development & Technology. This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay. **Qualifications:** * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Statistics, Data Science or related major required. * Overall GPA of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale preferred. * Obtained at least 60 credit hours by the start of internship (May 2025) required. * Graduation dates of August 2025 through May 2027 required. * Able and willing to work 40 hours per week during the summer at the Valero San Antonio Headquarters, required. * Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
