Data Analytics Manager
Description Position Overview: We are seeking a visionary and goal-driven Data Analytics IT Leader to manage and optimize enterprise-wide data initiatives that enhance operational productivity, ensure financial growth, and enable intelligent decision-making. In this role, you will drive the execution of a flexible and robust data strategy, oversee data management frameworks, and promote an organizational culture centered around analytics. By leveraging both leadership and technical expertise, you will safeguard data quality, security, and usability while adopting the latest advancements in data science and analytics tools. Primary Responsibilities: • Supervise and mentor the Data Analytics team, overseeing daily operations, reporting, and dashboard workflows. • Architect, deploy, and sustain enterprise analytical environments, including data warehouses and reporting platforms. • Establish and implement best practices for data governance to maintain accuracy and compliance. • Collaborate with executives and other stakeholders to identify analytics needs and provide comprehensive reporting solutions. • Develop intuitive dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards to measure and visualize critical business metrics. • Lead initiatives involving advanced data modeling, predictive forecasting, and statistical assessments. • Manage large-scale analytics projects, such as data migrations, integrations, and platform upgrades. • Build and maintain vendor relationships for analytics tools and services procurement. • Align enterprise data strategies with organizational goals, ensuring performance and scalability. • Research and recommend emerging solutions in AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics technologies. • Drive data literacy programs to empower teams with self-service analytics tools and best practices. • Work closely with IT functions to ensure the availability, security, and scalability of data environments. • Provide support for reporting and data needs across organizational platforms and applications. Working Conditions: • Hybrid work environment with the primary location being office-based; opportunities for remote work based on business needs. • Possible visits to operational facilities, such as warehouses or other business units, for specific data projects. • Occasional lifting of IT-related equipment, up to 25 lbs., may be required. • Ability to travel occasionally for conferences, corporate meetings, or multi-site collaboration. Requirements Preferred Qualifications: • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, AWS Data Analytics, or Azure Data Fundamentals) are advantageous. • Experience Level: 5–10 years of experience in business intelligence, data strategy, or analytics management, including leadership responsibilities. • Technical Expertise: Proficient in SQL, ETL methodologies, data architecture, and enterprise analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS, or Python programming). • Cloud Acumen: Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and modern data frameworks like APIs and data lakes. • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills with a knack for problem-solving.
