NetImpact Strategies is seeking an onsite Data Analytics/Power BI Developer to join our team, in support of a federal client in Bethesda, MD.
Data Analytics / Power BI Developer is an analytical and results-driven professional specializing in transforming complex data into actionable insights through advanced analytics and data visualization. He should be proficient in designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Skilled in data modeling, ETL processes, and integrating diverse data sources, he should enable comprehensive analysis. He should be adept at working with stakeholders to identify key metrics, optimize workflows, and deliver impactful business intelligence solutions. Passionate about leveraging data, he should uncover trends, drive efficiency, and support strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform data analytics to provide actionable insights and information to stakeholders. Support decision-making and solution development by analyzing data trends and patterns. Utilize scripting and querying tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to produce detailed reports, data files, and dashboards that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Apply data standards to ensure consistency and accuracy in data handling and reporting. Utilize automation tools to extract, synthesize, and validate data from various sources, transforming it into usable metrics and reducing manual data processing efforts. Work closely with OCM specialists and stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and requirements. Gather and document these requirements to guide data analysis and reporting. Assist in identifying and categorizing all stakeholders affected by changes. Analyze the potential impact of proposed changes on organizational processes, systems, culture, and people. Construct and monitor data sets to ensure data quality and integrity. Address and resolve any database issues to maintain reliable and accurate data. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related problems to support seamless data operations and reporting. Utilize data visualization and business intelligence (BI) tools to create visual representations of data that enhance understanding and decision-making. Apply statistical methods and data modeling techniques to analyze data and support insights. Administer post-implementation surveys and monitor their results to collect data on the effectiveness of changes. Analyze survey data to measure the impact of changes and assess the outcomes relative to the expected objectives. Report to the contractor's program manager and/or the Senior OCM Analyst/Consultant. Provide regular updates on data analysis, findings, and any issues encountered. Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders, ensuring that data-driven decisions are well-informed and actionable. QualificationsRequired:
Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis or related fields. Basic understanding of data analysis methods, data validation, and data visualization. Familiarity with data analytics tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).Preferred
Certification in Data Analytics or related fields is a plus. Previous federal consulting experience#LI-Onsite
